Leslie "Walker" Heinrichs- A standout volleyball player for the Sailfish from 1995-98, Heinrichs becomes the fifth PBA volleyball player to be inducted in the Sports Hall of Fame as she joins Stefanie Vavich, Jennifer Brecht Brown, Jennifer Wren and Jackie Stanley in this prestigious group.

Heinrichs spent her time in a Sailfish uniform as one of the most consistent and decorated student-athletes to ever suit up in the Blue and White. At the end of her four-year career, Heinrichs had accumulated program records in two key statistical categories of kills (2,220) and digs (1,910) while also finishing in the top-10 all-time for the program in blocks.

Her impressive play led her to accolades from both the Florida Sun Conference and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) as an All-Region selection. She was also named the PBA Female Athlete of the Year in 1996 and Team MVP as a senior in 1998.

A Communications major with a minor in Physical Education, Heinrichs graduated in 1999 and then went on to work at Palm Beach County United Way as a loaned executive.

Heinrichs married PBA alumnus Herbert Heinrichs Jr. with the couple having three children: Mackenzie, Makayla and Maxwell. They now live in Delaware where they are currently raising funds to start a non-profit working Christian ranch that will provide a safe, family-structured home for at-risk children from birth through 20 years of age.

She has home-schooled her oldest daughter for the past several years in addition to serving her church as a Sunday school teacher, youth leader and small group leader. She also stays active with volleyball by serving as an assistant coach to the local home-school team.
