Sports Hall of Fame
A Texas native, Dolberry joined the Sailfish women's basketball program prior to the 2009-10 season and immediately made an impact on the floor. She averaged 11.7 points per game as a freshman to lead the team. As a senior in 2012-13 she averaged 16.4 points per game and became the first player in the D2 era to eclipse 1,000 career points.
Ashley finished her career first all-time in total points (1,182) and free throws made (485), second in rebounds (728), scoring average (11.5), and field goals made (333), third all-time in rebounding average (7.1) and steals (159), and ranked in the Top 10 of 3-point field goals made, free throw percentage, blocked shots, and games started. She also holds the program record for most free throws made in a season (147) and a game (17). She was also named to the CoSIDA Academic All-American Second Team in 2013, becoming the first female student-athlete to achieve the honor during PBA's D2 era.
She graduated in the Spring of 2013 with a degree in biology and has also completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of Texas Health Science Center School of Dentistry. She is a practicing general dentist in West Palm Beach and Palm City after moving back to the area following dental school to be near her fiancée, former PBA baseball player Matt Civetti.
