Jim Harwood- Jim Harwood garnered a closet full of basketball awards and honors during his tenure at PBA from 1996 through 2000. He is the University's all time career leader in steals with 191. He scored 1,845 total points during his collegiate career, ranking him second in the school's history. He scored a career high of 45 points in a single game against Webber International University in the 1997-1998 season. He was Rookie of the Year in 1997, and was awarded the Don Harp Scholarship in 1998. Twice he was named to the NAIA All-American and All-Florida Sun Conference teams. Harwood was a three time basketball team MVP and twice was named PBA Male athlete of the Year.A marketing major, Harwood was named PBA Student Leader of the Year in 2000. He lives in Boynton Beach with his wife, Summer Bauckman Harwood '01 and their four children: Landen, Meadow, Starlie and Ryker. His son Landen has been named the State of Florida Player of the Year and is signed to play at Embry Riddle starting in 2025.
