KISSIMMEE, Fla.- The Sailfish men’s tennis team registered a 6-3 win on Thursday afternoon in Kissimmee over the likes of the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) Atlanta as the ‘Fish improved their record to 10-8.
PBA will have off until April 5th when they travel to Florida Tech in Melbourne for a makeup match with the Panthers set for 12 pm.
Against the Bees the Sailfish swept doubles behind a pair of 8-4 wins at Nos. 1 and 3-doubles while the tandem of Mark Heimberger and Nicholas Battistini went to 9-7 to earn a win at No. 2-doubles.
Romain Nowaczyk continued his solid play atop singles for the Sailfish as he won 6-4 in the first set before his opponent retired in set number two.
Nicolas Uryson and Battistini earned the other PBA singles victories.
