WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic men's tennis team lost to Flagler 0-7 on Saturday at the Pollard Tennis Center in St. Augustine, Fla. The Sailfish faced a tough opponent, as Flagler swept all six singles matches and claimed the doubles point.
In doubles action,
Matthew Young and
Noah Muyale fell at No. 2 doubles, 6-1.
Saidakbar Kamalov and
Alejandro Rol Franco were defeated at No. 3 doubles, 6-2.
Peter Dragar and
Milan Visontai nearly edged out their opponents but ultimately fell 7-5 at No. 1 doubles.
Turning to singles play,
Milan Visontai was bested at No. 1 singles, 6-1, 6-1.
Alejandro Rol Franco faced a challenging match at No. 2 singles, suffering a 6-2, 6-2 defeat.
Lucas Hoyos battled at No. 3 singles but was unable to secure a win, losing 7-5, 6-0.
Peter Dragar took to the court at No. 4 singles, where he was defeated 6-3, 6-3.
Saidakbar Kamalov played at No. 5 singles and faced a 6-3, 6-1 loss.
Bernardo Moutinho rounded out the lineup at No. 6 singles, losing 6-1, 6-2.
The Sailfish return to the courts next Saturday when they return home at 1 p.m. to take on Florida Southern.Â
