WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic men's tennis team fell to No. 3 Keiser University 6-1 on Tuesday at the Mitch Gornto Tennis Center. The 'Fish secured a win at the No. 6 singles position and earned a doubles victory at the No. 2 spot.
In doubles play, the 'Fish duo of
Matthew Young and
Alejandro Rol Franco triumphed with a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles. However, PBA faced challenges at No. 3 doubles, where
Saidakbar Kamalov and Niklas Dusterer were overcome 6-0, and at No. 1 doubles, where Peter Drager and
Milan Visontai fell 6-1.
In singles action, the Sailfish earned a point at No. 6 singles, courtesy of
Noah Muyale, who won by opponent retirement. Despite this, PBA encountered tough matches across the board. Peter Drager was defeated 6-3, 6-0 at No. 3 singles, and Mark Visontai fell 6-3, 6-1 at No. 5 singles.
Alejandro Rol Franco battled at No. 2 singles but ultimately lost 6-3, 6-4. Bernardo Costa faced a 6-1, 6-2 defeat at No. 4 singles, while
Milan Visontai was edged out in a close match at No. 1 singles, 6-2, 7-6(4).
