WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- Looking to avoid the large amounts of rain projected for Tuesday afternoon, the Palm Beach Atlantic University and Saint Vincent University men’s tennis teams got together for their match a day earlier on Monday at Gaines Park. In dominating fashion, the Sailfish posted an easy 9-0 victory as they improved to 4-2 on the season.
All three doubles teams tallied easy victories for PBA with #1-#3 winning by the scores of 8-1, 8-1, and 8-0.
Alex Minicozzi presented the best overall singles showing as he didn’t drop a game en route to a 6-0, 6-0 win at #2-singles for PBA.
The Sailfish will return to court on Saturday, March 6th as they begin a week long trek to Orlando, Florida for six matches over Spring Break.
