WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Palm Beach Atlantic men's track student-athlete Charlie Roberts earned Sunshine State Conference Distance Runner of the Week honors on Monday.

The award comes after Roberts turned in a stellar performance on Friday at the Tampa Spartans Classic. He set two school records in the 1500m and the 800m. He took home first place in the 1500m with a time of 3:52.26. Later in the day he earned fifth in the 800m running a 1:54.08. In his efforts, he defeated runners from conference schools Tampa and Eckerd. His time in the 1500m is the fastest in the South Region this spring. His 800m time is also top-10 in the region.

PBA track competes again on Friday the 20th at the UCF Black and Gold Invite in Orlando.
