WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Palm Beach Atlantic men's basketball checked in at No. 8 in the latest National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Top 25 poll, released Tuesday.
The Sailfish slipped five spots after suffering their first loss of the season, a setback on New Year's Eve at Florida Southern. Despite the drop from No. 3, PBA sits in second place in the Sunshine State Conference with a 12-1 overall record and a 4-1 mark in league play.
Palm Beach Atlantic has built one of the strongest résumés in Division II, highlighted by their win over the former No. 1-ranked Nova Southeastern. PBA leads the SSC in scoring defense, allowing 68.8 points per game. Offensively, the 'Fish are third in the league in points scored per game, averaging 90.8, highlighted by

PBA returns to action Wednesday night with a road matchup at Embry-Riddle at 7:30 p.m. The Sailfish will then return home to the Rubin Arena on Saturday to host Saint Leo in a conference doubleheader, with games scheduled for 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
