WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Palm Beach Atlantic's men's basketball team checked in at No. 8 in this week's National Association of Basketball Coaches Top 25 poll, released Tuesday.
The Sailfish slipped four spots from No. 4 after splitting a pair of road games last week. PBA earned a win at Eckerd before suffering a setback Saturday against No. 2 Nova Southeastern.
Palm Beach Atlantic handled Eckerd on the road to open the week, continuing its strong play away from home. The Sailfish then faced the now No. 2-ranked Nova Southeastern, where the Sharks got their revenge after falling to PBA in West Palm Beach earlier this season.
Despite the drop in the poll, PBA sits in second place in the SSC standings. Palm Beach Atlantic returns home this week with a matchup against Barry on Wednesday in Rubin Arena. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
