WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic men's basketball team released their 2025-26 season schedule on Thursday. Last year, in head coach Cole Rose's fourth season, the Sailfish finished 17-12 with a 10-10 record in league play. The season was highlighted by an upset win over #1 and eventual national champion Nova Southeastern.
The Sailfish kick off the season at the South Region Crossover in Nashville, Tennessee on November 15th and 16th. They will take on Trevecca Nazarene and Morehouse in the challenge.
"We are very excited about the upcoming season and our schedule," said Coach Rose. "We'll be tested early on the road by starting out in Nashville in a tough road environment and playing two very good regional opponents in Trevecca and Morehouse."
The Sailfish return home the following weekend with an early SSC matchup with Florida Tech. The Sailfish also play host at the Rubin Arena to a Thanksgiving weekend multiple team event (MTE) where they'll take on Emmanuel and Puerto Rico-Bayoman. Lynn will take on the same two teams over the two days.
"We get right into SSC conference play the second weekend of the season, so we'll need to be good early and come together quickly to make those games count," said Coach Rose. With the last few years on the road around the holidays, we have the chance to host classics right after Thanksgiving and before Christmas which should give our fans plenty of opportunities to come out and pack the Rubin"
The next weekend, PBA really kicks off the always tough SSC schedule by taking on the reigning NCAA DII champion Nova Southeastern Sharks at 4 p.m. inside the Rubin Arena. The Sailfish host another MTE before Christmas, and they'll take on American International College and South Florida Bible. The 'Fish ring in the new year by taking on Florida Southern in Lakeland on New Years Eve.
Rose added, "As it is every year, we look forward to the gauntlet of conference play picking up after we get back from the break in December."
Into 2026, the Sailfish take on Saint Leo, Tampa, Rollins, Barry, Florida Southern, Eckerd, and Embry Riddle inside the Rubin Arena. PBA also makes return trips to Nova Southeastern and Lynn in the new year.
The Sailfish return some key members of last year's squad such as Jakob Hester, Alvin Tumblin Jr., Broderick Ellis, Graham Worland, Tyler Burton and Jamaal Walker. Trent McNair, who missed the entire season after an unfortunate injury on opening night, also returns to the floor. Preston Le Gassick, Dante Depante and Christian Kirland look to make immediate impacts as transfers. The Sailfish also added four freshmen to the roster.
