LAKELAND, Fla.- The Palm Beach Atlantic women's cross country team fought to a 4th place finish at the FLRunners.com Invitational in Lakeland. The Sailfish were fueled by two top-ten finishes from Daisy-Mae Struk and Nella Petersen. 

Daisy-Mae Struk led the way for the Sailfish with an eighth place finish overall with a time of 24:35.13. Nella Petersen also finished in the top 10 with a time of 24:48.88.

Julia Kooyer finished in 21st place with a time of 26:12.55. Following right behind her with a time of 26:27.25 was Harper Ethridge in 22nd place. Darah Oniwa rounded out the Sailfish squad with a time of 26:51.19 in 24th place. Natalie Lewis, Chloe Smith, Ava Spampanato and Amala Rimes also ran for the Sailfish but didn't crack the top five for the 'Fish. 

The Sailfish return to competition on October 11th at the Lewis Crossover in Romeoville, Illinois.
