WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- One student-athlete from Palm Beach Atlantic University was recognized for her hard work in the classroom and on the field as College Sports Communicators announced its Academic All-District teams. The 2026 Academic All-District Women's Track and Field/Cross Country teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
Ruth Spijker earned the honor of being named to the Division II CSC Academic All-District Women's Track and Field/Cross Country team, highlighting the continued success of PBA student-athletes both academically and athletically.
Spijker contributed greatly to her team as she would have a top five finish in the SSC Conference Championships and a top fifteen finish in the teams win at the NCAA Regionals competition.
The CSC Academic All-District honor recognizes student-athletes who demonstrate high achievement in both academics and athletics. Nominees must meet minimum competition and GPA requirements to be eligible for consideration.
