KENOSHA, Wis. — Palm Beach Atlantic capped its historic season with a 31st-place team finish at the NCAA Division II Women's Cross Country Championships on Saturday, led by senior Dominyka Petraskaite, who crossed in 22:15.2 at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course.

Petraskaite set the pace early and held her position as PBA's frontrunner, while fellow senior Ruth Spijker followed close behind, finishing in 22:17.5. Senior Jeanne Corroy was the team's third scorer in 22:48.5.

Freshman Erin Regan continued her breakthrough postseason with a 23:13.0 performance, and first-year Daisy Struk rounded out the scoring five in 23:39.4, setting a new personal best. Freshmen Addison Galloway (23:53.3) and junior Nella Petersen (24:26.9) completed the lineup.

The Sailfish, competing as a team at nationals for the second time in program history, posted a team total of 829 points. PBA was without one of its top runners, Beth Sykes due to injury.

PBA's appearance caps a landmark November that included the program's first NCAA South Region championship and its second team national berth.
