Romeoville, Ill. – The Palm Beach Atlantic women's cross country team competed at the Lewis Crossover hosted by Lewis University on Saturday.
The Sailfish entered the race ranked No. 29 in the USTFCCCA national rankings. PBA was shorthanded in today's race but still managed to finish 13
th out of 36 schools. The 'Fish outraced No. 30-ranked Colorado Christian.
Dominyka Petraskaite recorded the best finish for the Sailfish. She finished 39
th with a time of 22:22.03.
Ruth Spijker was right behind her, running a 22:22.35 to finish 41
st and set a new personal record.
Beth Sykes earned 62
nd with a time of 22:35.93.
Erin Regan placed 83
rd with a personal best mark of 22:54.03. Addison Galloway rounded out PBA's top five in 193
rd with a new personal best time of 24:04.23.
Daisy Struk earned 254
th in the race with a time of 2:03.37.
Hannah Parker also competed in the race, finishing 270
th in 25:17.09.
PBA returns to the Sunshine State for its final race of the regular season on Oct. 17 at the Ed Holloway Cross Country Classic in Lakeland.
