JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Palm Beach Atlantic men's track team finished its season on Saturday at the East Coast Relays hosted by North Florida.
The event started on Friday with
Jared Brown starting it off in the 200m event. He finished in 86
th, running a time of 22.62.
Reece Slater led the way for the Sailfish in the 800m. He earned 46
th place with a time of 1:59.32.
Ethan Wattles followed in 60
th running 2:02.98.
Nathan Yates finished in 72
nd with a mark of 2:06.47.
Connor Wallace rounded out the PBA lineup in 86
th with a time of 2:16.85.
Slater set a new personal record in the 1500m. He improved on his top 10 time in school history, running a 3:59.84 in 26
th place. Yates (4:22.02) finished 64
th in the event.
Josh McKay placed 70
th with a season-best time of 4:26.87.
Miles Kennedy earned 76
th, running 4:42.04.
Toinou Laigle earned a 12
th-place finish in the 5000m race, running a season-best 14:51.19. Wattles earned 21
st with a time of 16:05.88.
Jackson Overholt followed in 23
rd with a time of 16:12.07.
Hayden Tank (16:16.85) came in 26
th followed by
Michael Kirwan (16:57.53).
