DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Palm Beach Atlantic men's track team traveled to Embry-Riddle for a two-day event.
The Sailfish started the event on Friday with the 1500m race.
Ethan Wattles led the way for the Sailfish, finishing 19th with a personal-best time of 4:07.26.
Toinou Laigle followed in 25th, running 4:08.75.
Nathan Yates ran a time of 4:16.28 in 41st place.
Jackson Overholt (4:18.18) set a new personal record in 45th place.
Andrew Duda (4:21.46) in 50th,
Haile Buck in 61st (4:26.35), and
Miles Kennedy (4:47.66) in 75th rounded out the PBA lineup. Duda set a new personal best time.
Next up was the 200m race.
Jared Brown highlighted the day, setting a school record with a time of 22.89. Brown finished 51st in the race, followed by
Djordje Panic in 95th with a personal best of 25.68.
Michael Kirwan ended the day for the Sailfish in the 5000m race. He finished in 44th with a track personal best of 16:28.17
The Sailfish ended the meet by competing in the 800m race.
Reece Slater led the way in 16th place, running the third-fastest time in school history (1:56.31).
Josh McKay followed in 53rd with a time of 2:06.24.
Connor Wallace also represented PBA in 64th, running a 2:09.71.
PBA track competes again on April 5 at the Flames Invitational hosted by Lee University.
