WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Palm Beach Atlantic men's basketball team climbed in both Division II basketball national polls on Tuesday.

After being ranked nationally in both the National Association of Basketball Coaches poll and the D2 College Sports Communicators poll for the first time since joining Division 2, PBA has improved its position in both polls. The Sailfish are coming off a 2-0 week over Thanksgiving break, picking up wins over North Greenville and Puerto Rico-Bayamon. PBA currently sits at 7-0 overall and 2-0 in the SSC.

The 'Fish made a large leap in the NABC poll. After debuting at No. 23 last week, PBA moved up to No. 17. The Sailfish are the second-highest out of four teams from the Sunshine State Conference listed in the poll's top 25.

After entering the poll at No. 24 last week, PBA moved up three spots to No. 21 in the D2CSC poll. The Sailfish currently sit at No. 3 in the D2CSC South Region rankings.

PBA is back in action on Wednesday night against Barry. The 'Fish host the Bucs in an SSC matchup in Rubin Arena at 7:30 p.m.
