WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Palm Beach Atlantic baseball program has finalized its schedule for the upcoming 2024 season. The Sailfish compete in 50 games, 30 of which come in Sunshine State Conference play, under the leadership of Kent Bottenfield who enters his 13th season as head coach.

PBA begins their season at the beginning of February with an twelve-game home stand as they start by welcoming in non-conference opponents Catawba, Washburn, North Greenville, and Tusculum for four consecutive games in four days. The 'Fish will face all ten SSC opponents in a three-game series throughout the year and begin on Feb. 23 with a three-game set by hosting Saint Leo before heading to Tampa at the beginning of March. 

The Sailfish take a break in conference play by hosting Cal Penn in a two-game series and a four-game set against Bloomfield from March 4-11. PBA closes out the month with a home series against Lynn and begins April at home with a series against Florida Southern. The Sailfish have their final home series against Rollins beginning on April 26 and then end their regular season with a series at Florida Tech starting on May 5.

The 'Fish are coming off a 2023 season where they finished with a 21-28 record. The Sailfish return a majority of their top bats from last season including Matty Warren and Nate Housen who each finished with a batting average well over .300. After losing their top arm from last season, the Sailfish added eight new pitchers to a staff that will look to Justin Lovell to take a step forward as a full-time starter.
