JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Palm Beach Atlantic's track team took a select few to the North Florida Invitational over the weekend to officially close out their first season of competition.
The Sailfish saw three male and two female participants in the large field. Ty Fisher and Michael Smith both set personal bests in the 5K with Fisher placing 3rd and Smith taking 9th. Fisher finished with a time of 15:29.45 with Smith crossing the line at 15:54.93.
Cami Rickenbach ran both the 1500 and the 5K with a personal best in the 1500 and a season best in the 5K. She placed 11th in the 1500 with a time of 4:56.46 and crossed the line in 19:30.34 in the 5K. Emily Van Duren also participated for the 'Fish in the javelin, with a best mark of 26.96 meters. Jon Paul Ogle also competed in the javelin for the men, with a throw of 38.98 meters.
