AZUSA, Calif. – The Palm Beach Atlantic men's track team sent three student-athletes to California for the Bryan Clay Invite.
The Sailfish competed on Friday and Saturday. The field was large, featuring several division I, division II, division III, NJCAA, and NAIA teams.
Aedan Lydon was the lone PBA runner on Friday, and he had a standout performance, breaking the school record in the 5k with a time of 14:43.69. He placed 37
th in the event.
On Saturday,
Alain Flores and
Charlie Roberts competed in the 1500m. Flores posted the second-best time in school history at 3:52.35, placing 126
th. Roberts placed 174
th with a time of 4:03.08.
Next weekend, the Sailfish travel to Daytona Beach for the Sunshine State Conference Championships on Friday and Saturday.
