MIRAMAR, Fla. – The Palm Beach Atlantic men's track team competed at the HBCU Relays on Saturday.
The Sailfish started the day with a win in the 4x800m. The team of
Zach Avalos,
Christian Ayers,
Andrew Duda, and
Baden Tull defeated Ave Maria with a time of 8:38.44.
Hans Payne led the way for the 'Fish in the 1500m. He earned sixth with a time of 4:10.00.
Aedan Lydon followed in eighth with a mark of 4:12.09.
Michael Kirwan (4:17.34) placed 10
th followed by
Max Buonomo (4:17.40) in 11
th, and
Chris Cotilla (4:20.38) in 13
th.
Jamin Dewitt was PBA's top finisher in the 800m. He ran a personal best 1:56.65, good for second in the race.
Alain Flores was right behind in third place with a personal best mark of 1:58.61.
Carlos Santiago placed fourth with a time of 2:01.28.
Payne was the fastest Sailfish again in the 5000m. He placed fifth with a time of 16:37.92.
Baden Tull placed seventh with a mark of 17:41.52.
Jack Colvin earned eighth with a time of 18:08.70.
