Box Score VALDOSTA, Ga. – Palm Beach Atlantic women's tennis was unable to carry their success from a night earlier into Saturday's match with No. 5 West Florida, falling 9-0 to the Argos.
The loss is the first time PBA has been shutout this season. PBA managed to take just four games in doubles while faring only slightly better in singles play.
Bella Mermersky had the most success on the day in singles, falling at No. 1 to the 11th ranked Paula Coyos, 6-2, 6-2. Michaela Mignemi also was able to win four total games down at No. 6 but lost to nationally ranked No. 36 Diana Vlad, 6-3, 6-1.
PBA finishes off their three-match weekend with a trip to St. Augustine to take on No. 6 Flagler at 11 a.m.
