Chose PBA because of she is able to be in a Christian atmosphere, play tennis and study athletic training to prepare for a career in physical therapy... Favorite verses are Joshua 1:9... 2018 (Senior)
Played 17 singles matches and 22 doubles matches in her final season…led the team with 11 singles victories…finished in a three-way tie for the team lead with 12 doubles victories…posted a 7-4 record at No. 6 singles while going 2-0 at No. 5 and 2-2 at No. 4…finished the year with a 3-4 record vs. SSC foes, the best on the team…finished 12-10 overall in doubles including a team-best 4-4 in SSC play…was 10-9 at No. 3 doubles, 1-1 at No. 2 and 1-0 at No. 1…posted a 7-7 record with Romina Bolagay and a 4-3 mark with Nicole Reich.
2017 (Junior)
Played most of the year as the No. 5 and 6 singles player for the ‘Fish, finished with a 16-5 record on the year… went on a nine match victory streak from Feb. 28 to March 18… spent most of her time at No. 3 on doubles Romina Bolagay, finishing with a 16-6 record… had wins over #38 Rollins, #35 Northwood, #43 Tarleton State, #28 Indiana (PA), #29 Saint Leo and #26 Nova Southeastern.
2016 (Sophomore)
Was the No. 6 singles player for the Sailfish much of the season, finishing with a 9-8 overall singles record… went 5-1 in March, which included wins over #17 UC San Diego and #31 Point Loma during a Spring Break trip to California…played No. 3 doubles with Teona Tatishvili for much of the season, finishing with an 8-12 overall record…came up with a big win in a victory over #29 Florida Tech on April 19 at the Rinker Athletic Campus
2015 (Freshman)
Playing mainly at No. 6 singles, Mignemi finished with a 9-5 record…opened up her Sailfish career defeating her singles opponent from #10 Florida Southern and #37 Tampa in the same week…also defeated opponents from #33 St. Edward’s and #4 Nova Southeastern…finished 14-8 in doubles play, beating several SSC opponents such as Florida Southern, Florida Tech, Tampa, Eckerd, and Nova Southeastern…won her final seven matches of the season
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Venice High School where she played for head coach Jason Golden... She competed as the No. 1 player for the Indians and was named to the All-Area tennis team in 2012, 2013 and 2014, and also participated on District and Regional Championship squads for the Indians in 2011 and 2013... Earned championships at the district and regional level in 2014, qualifying for the state tournament for the third time in four years... Shined in the classroom as well, finishing in the top 97% of Venice High School with a final GPA of 3.8.
