DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Palm Beach Atlantic women's cross country Sailfish finished eighth at the Sunshine State Conference Championships. Tampa finished first overall with Embry-Riddle finishing second.
Cami Rickenbach and Katie Kanagy were the top performers for the Sailfish in Daytona Beach. Rickenbach finished 20th overall with a time of 23:30 to lead the Sailfish with Kanagy finishing 44th with a time of 25:19. Christin Sustar and Jessica Lykins were the next Sailfish over the finish line with Sustar finishing 48th (25:46) and Lykins finishing 49th (25:52). Rounding out the top five runners for the Sailfish was Abby Reburn with a time of 26:17 giving her a 53rd place finish.
Other finishers for the 'Fish were Jessica Chavis (27:18, 60th), Hope Kanagy, (27:48, 63), and Abby Slater (29:18, 67th).
The Sailfish are back in action Nov. 17 in Lakeland for the NCAA South Region Championships.
