Box Score LA MIRANDA, Calif. – The Sailfish were back at it Tuesday night, winning 7-2 over Biola University, and extending their win streak to five games. The win pushes Palm Beach Atlantic to 7-2 on the season, as the loss drops Biola to 4-6. The match is the second for PBA out of five this week in California.
Nicolas Uryson and Hendrik Burmeister got the ‘Fish started off, again winning their No. 1 doubles match by an 8-2 score. Thomas Salmon and Pietro de Silva also won their match, 8-3. Uryson and Burmeister are now 7-1 on the season while Salmon and de Silva sit at 7-2 in doubles. Asti Adams and Nicholas Battistini dropped their No. 2 doubles match 8-4.
No. 17 ranked Uryson, playing No. 1 singles, again was victorious, as he defeated Philip Westwood 6-0, 6-2. The win pushes his singles record to 6-1 on the season. Battistini and Stanislav Feofilov made easy work of their opponents, both winning by a score of 6-1, 6-0. Salmon got a tough match at No. 4 singles, but came out on top 7-5, 6-4. The final Sailfish victory came from Pietro de Silva, who won 6-0, 7-5.
The Sailfish will be back at it Wednesday, as they will play San Diego Christian, marking their third match in three days and their fifth match in seven days.
