Box Score HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Palm Beach Atlantic men’s tennis continued its strong play over spring break with a clean sweep of Tiffin University on Wednesday morning.
PBA’s doubles teams made easy work of the Dragons, with Romain Nowaczyk and Nicholas Uryson winning 8-1 while both combinations of Mark Heimberger and Matt Leeds as well as Asti Adams and Nicholas Battistini defeated their opponents 8-3.
Singles saw equal success for the ‘Fish, starting with the ones as Nowaczyck took down TU’s number one 6-0, 6-1. Uryson, Heimberger, and Adams saw equal success, with 6-1, 6-3; 7-5, 6-2; and 6-2, 6-2 wins respectively. The Sailfish rounded out their singles wins with Battistini overwhelming his opponent 6-2, 6-2 and Fernando Arroyo defeating his adversary 8-3.
Palm Beach Atlantic improves to 7-2 on the season and will return to action on Thursday when they take on West Liberty University, once again in Hilton Head, S.C.
