WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- Taking to the court for the first time this week, the #42 ranked Palm Beach Atlantic University women's tennis team played host to the visitng #40 ranked University of Tampa for a Saturday morning showdown at Gaines Park. Making a clean sweep in all singles and doubles matches, the Sailfish outmatched the Spartans claiming their 11th victory of the season with a 9-0 showcase.

The Fish made quick work in each of their singles matchups, not even surrendering one game in all six competitions. The #1, 2, and 3 doubles teams in Baca/Trotter, Wharton/Ittersagen, and Vahatalo/Domenech closed out their matches with scores of 8-3, 8-2, and 8-3 respectively.

The Sailfish (11-8) will welcome the Tritons of Eckerd College tomorrow, March 27th for a 1 pm matchup at Gaines Park.  With only three regular season competitions remaining, the Sailfish look to make this week a 2-0 sweep over visiting opponents.
