MIAMI SHORES, Fla.- Palm Beach Atlantic University junior right-hander Ashley Jones is off to quite an impressive start. Now three starts into her 2009 season, Jones is 3-0 with three shutouts including her most recent outing on Saturday afternoon as she went seven more strong innings against Columbus State University in a 3-0 victory.

Jones has now extended her scoreless innings streak to 22 innings to start the season while seemingly growing stronger with each outing.

Sophomore Caitlin Bouschet blasted her first-homerun of the season to help aide the Sailfish cause.

The Fish move ahead to take on UNC-Pembroke later tonight at 7 p.m.
