WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Palm Beach Atlantic softball team had three all-Sunshine State Conference honorees.
Larken Maseda,
Dianna Montidoro, and
Rylee Little each earned all-SSC honors. Maseda was place on the first team while Montidoro and Little earned spots on the second team. The all-SSC teams are voted on by the head coaches in the conference.
Maseda just finished her senior season after being a four-year starter behind the plate for the Sailfish. She hit .284 this season, starting 48 games for the Sailfish, catching almost every game. She totaled several career highs including, 40 hits, 16 runs, four home runs, two doubles, and seven stolen bases. She finishes her PBA career with 122 hits and 51 runs scored. She ends her PBA career with 49 runners caught stealing, the second most by a catcher in PBA's DII-era.
Montidoro turned in a successful freshman season for the Sailfish. She started in 48 games as shortstop and was a consistent presence at the top of the PBA lineup. She hit .338 totaling 49 hits, 25 runs scored, 17 walks, 15 stolen bases, and 11 RBIs with an OPS of .800.
Little earned a spot on the All-SSC second team as a utility-pitcher. She played in 49 games this season with 46 starts. In the circle, she posted the best ERA on the team (3.17) with 162.2 innings pitched and 140 strikeouts with a .244 batting average against. At the plate, she hit .309 with 42 hits, 20 runs scored, 19 RBIs, and six stolen bases with an OPS of .824.
The trio of Sailfish are the first all-conference honorees since 2024. The squad posted its most wins since 2019 under first year head coach Kasey Cox.
