WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Entering her second season on the Palm Beach Atlantic University softball staff, Gabby Sacco has been promoted to a full-time assistant coach by Head Coach Kasey Cox.

"I am very excited to welcome Gabby as a part of our staff full-time," said head coach Kasey Cox. "Gabby brings a lot of experience, and energy to the program. PBA Softball is blessed to have her!" 

"I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to officially join the staff full-time," said Sacco. "I'm grateful for everyone who has helped me get to this point, and I'm looking forward to continuing to serve, grow, and make an impact every day."

Sacco joined the Sailfish in summer 2025 following the conclusion of the Sailfish season. Gabby arrived fresh off her senior season at NCAA Division I Florida Atlantic University where she was a part of a nationally ranked Owls squad.

During her time at FAU, Gabby was 2023 Conference USA Pitcher of the Year, 2023 All-C-USA First Team, Three-time C-USA Pitcher of the Week, 2024 Owlspy's Female Athlete of the Year and 2025 CSC Academic All-District Team. Graduating with a Communication Studies degree.

She's a Florida native as she hails from Orlando, Florida.
