WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- Welcoming in yet another top-ranked Sunshine State Conference team in Rollins College on Saturday, the Palm Beach Atlantic University women’s tennis team record dropped to 3-3 on the season as the Lady Tars downed the Fish by a 7-2 tally.
Rollins made fairly easy work through the doubles matches on Saturday before moving to singles that required a much more concentrated effort. Number two singles player Montserrat Rippoll (Mexico City, Mexico) earned the first victory of the afternoon while number six singles standout Katie Livesay (Dayton, Tenn.) won through default.
PBA will next be preparing for their upcoming Spring Break trip that includes a trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina for five upcoming matches.
