The Palm Beach Atlantic Sailing Team is grateful to the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County (MIAPBC) and the Palm Beach International Boat Show Gives Back program for their generous support of the PBA Sailing program.
As a recipient of the Palm Beach International Boat Show Gives Back Grant, PBA Sailing was able to put this funding directly toward the growth and operation of the program, helping provide our student-athletes with greater opportunities to learn, compete and represent Palm Beach Atlantic at the local, regional and national levels. The Palm Beach International Boat Show Gives Back program supports local nonprofit organizations that strengthen and grow the marine community in Palm Beach County. For PBA Sailing, this support made a meaningful difference in our ability to provide students with the resources and experiences necessary to develop as sailors and competitors.
Throughout the season, the team put the grant funding to work supporting travel, competition and program operations. These resources helped our sailors attend regattas, gain valuable racing experience and compete against collegiate sailing programs from across the region and country. Most importantly, the support helped create opportunities for our students to continue growing both on and off the water.
"We are incredibly thankful to the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County and the Palm Beach International Boat Show for investing in our student-athletes and our program," PBA head coach Kirsten Delany said. "Their generosity gave our sailors opportunities to travel, compete and continue developing as athletes and leaders. We are grateful to be part of a community that believes in youth development, maritime education and the future of sailing in Palm Beach County."
PBA Sailing is proud of the progress our team made this season and grateful to the partners who helped make those experiences possible. Support from organizations like MIAPBC allows the program to continue creating lifelong sailors while representing Palm Beach Atlantic throughout the collegiate sailing community. The PBA Sailing Team looks forward to building on this momentum and continuing to grow the program in the seasons ahead.
