Kirsten Delany graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic in 2019 and has served as the Sailing Director at PBA since 2021. Delany started the student-led sailing club at PBA as a student in fall of 2017. By Delany's senior year, she took the program to the next level, joining the South Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association (SAISA) division of the Intercollege Sailing Association (ICSA).
In its last year as a student club, the team competed in 11 regattas. PBA qualified in both the fall and spring for the regional championships as well as hosting a regatta for the first time in the school's history. The Sailfish also participated in a women's regatta for the first time in program history.
