KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Palm Beach Atlantic men's soccer team is ranked No. 12 in the United Soccer Coaches preseason poll, released Tuesday.

The Sailfish begin the season in the association's Top 25, hoping to replicate last season's success. PBA posted a 13-3-2 record in 2025 and climbed as high as No. 2 in the nation. The Sailfish won the Sunshine State Conference regular-season championship and earned the No. 1 seed in NCAA Division II Super Region 2.

The regular season begins Aug. 27 at the Rinker Athletic Campus, where the Sailfish host Lincoln Memorial before welcoming Carson-Newman two days later. Lincoln Memorial is listed among the teams receiving votes in this year's preseason poll.

The Sailfish return a pair of All-Sunshine State Conference honorees, including SSC Goalkeeper of the Year Flavio Giannini. All-Region selection Niklas Mahler returns to anchor the Sailfish midfield alongside key returners Livio Von Holzen, Veit Klement, Fabio Reck and Quinlan van Arkel.

Conference rivals Rollins (No. 2), Lynn (No. 8) and Florida Tech (No. 23) also appear in the preseason poll, highlighting the strength of the SSC. PBA earned victories over all three programs last season.
