WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Palm Beach Atlantic University Athletics will welcome three distinguished Sailfish into the PBA Athletics Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2026, marking the first Hall of Fame induction class since 2018.
 
Former baseball standout Sean Visconti, former Vice President of Athletics Carolyn Stone and former women's cross country standout Meghan Gilmore will be honored for their accomplishments and service from their time with Palm Beach Atlantic Athletics.
 
"The PBA Athletics Hall of Fame is about celebrating the people who have helped shape the history and tradition of Sailfish Athletics, and this class is a wonderful representation of that," PBA Director of Athletics Courtney Lovely Evans said. "Sean, Carolyn and Meghan each made an incredible impact during their time at Palm Beach Atlantic, and their accomplishments continue to be part of our story today. We are thrilled to bring the Hall of Fame back and give our community the opportunity to celebrate three very deserving members of the PBA family."
 
Visconti established himself as one of the top players in PBA baseball history during his career with the Sailfish. He played with the 'Fish from 2013-2017, etching himself into the PBA record books. He is the all-time hits leader for the Sailfish, totaling 254 hits with a career batting average of .344. He totaled 151 runs scored,114 RBIs, and 45 stolen bases. He is still PBA's Division II-era leader in career starts, runs, total bases, and doubles. The former middle infielder earned ICAA Freshman of the Year honors in 2013 and was named to the NCCAA South Region team, helping the Sailfish win the NCCAA National Championship in 2015.
 
Stone played a pivotal role in the growth and development of PBA Athletics during her tenure as director of athletics. She served at Palm Beach Atlantic from 2012-19, starting as the Director of Athletics before being promoted to Vice President in 2018. Stone was instrumental to PBA's acceptance into the Sunshine State Conference in 2017. During her tenure, PBA opened the Rinker Athletic Campus in 2014 and the Rinker Sports Center in 2017. The Sailfish athletic department grew from 10 sports to 18, adding varsity programs in men's and women's golf, men's and women's track, men's and women's lacrosse, and beach volleyball, as well as the revitalization of cross country. PBA's number of student-athletes doubled from 150 to over 300. She was honored as the NACDA Under Armour DII Athletic Director of the Year in 2019
 
After transferring to PBA as a former soccer player from the University of Georgia in 2010, Gilmore transformed herself into one of the top runners in NCAA Division II. She became the first NCAA Division II All-American in Palm Beach Atlantic University history as she claimed 10th place overall at the NCAA Division II Women's Cross Country National Championships. She also won the individual national championship in the NCCAA, leading the Sailfish to a fourth-place finish as a team.
 
The 2026 Hall of Fame class will be formally inducted during Homecoming & Family Weekend the weekend of Oct. 2. The class will be recognized at the Founders Day Chapel on Friday before being honored at the PBA volleyball game on Saturday, Oct. 2.
 
The PBA Athletics Hall of Fame was established to recognize individuals who have distinguished themselves through outstanding achievement and contributions to Sailfish Athletics. The Class of 2026 adds three new members to a distinguished group of former student-athletes, coaches, administrators and supporters who have helped shape the history of PBA Athletics.
