WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- One student-athlete from Palm Beach Atlantic University was recognized for his excellence in the classroom and in competition as College Sports Communicators announced its Academic All-District teams. The 2025-26 Academic All-District Baseball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom.
Finley Holmes earned CSC Academic All-District distinction, highlighting the continued success of PBA student-athletes both academically and athletically.
Holmes greatly contributed to the Sailfish baseball team this year on the field, finishing first in hits on the team along with stolen bases, and second in batting percentage and on-base percentage.
The sophomore from Vero Beach is the teams only representative on the CSC Academic All-District team, he joins teammate Dane Hall who was named in 2025 as an All-District honoree.
This is the fourth straight year the the Sailfish baseball team has been recognized for their academic achievements by having a player named to the All-District team.
The CSC Academic All-District honor recognizes student-athletes who demonstrate high achievement in both academics and athletics. Nominees must meet minimum competition and GPA requirements to be eligible for consideration.
