PBA would bounce back in their second match of the afternoon as they took on Vanguard where they would win in a thrilling 3-2 showdown.

The team secured wins in the second, third, and fourth matches to clinch the dual.

In the top flight, Thea Snider and Josephine Springer of Vanguard picked up a point with a straight-sets victory over the Sailfish's Katie Galligan and Angela Goggin, 21-19, 22-20. This early result put Vanguard on the board first.
