Beach Volleyball Wins the Day Over Florida Southern and Warner

PALM BEACH, Fla. — Palm Beach Atlantic sailed past Florida Southern with a commanding 4-1 victory and a resounding 5-0 victory over Warner University at the Rinker Athletic Campus on Saturday.

In the top flight, Maddie Kremer and Katelyn Nadeau set the pace for the Sailfish, outmatching Florida Southern's Sydney Melcher and Ryla Bryant in straight sets, 21-19, 21-9. Riding the wave, the 2s pair of Katie Galligan and Angela Goggin secured their win over Hailey Carefoot and Sarah Idler, 21-15, 21-13.

The 3s match was a nail-biter, with Sydney Corbett and Sofia Augusto of PBA narrowly falling to Isabella Muti and Mary Olivia Muti from Florida Southern, who edged out the win with scores of 21-17, 25-23.

On Court 4, Maggie Cox and Zoye Caroline added another victory for the 'Fish, defeating Ella Pringle and Lauren Passaglia, 21-15, 21-17. The action on Court 5 went the distance as Peyton Baro and Cameron Ring clinched the final point, overcoming Sophie Harris and Victoria Rushing in a thrilling three-setter, 16-21, 21-17, 15-6.

In the top flight against Warner, Maddie Kremer and Katelyn Nadeau secured a point for the Sailfish with a commanding win over Ashlyn Fassnacht and Leah Cooley, taking both sets 21-12, 21-4. The 2s kept the momentum going as Katie Galligan and Angela Goggin added another point, defeating Skye McDermott and Lydia Coggins in straight sets, 21-14, 21-12.

The 3s saw Maggie Cox and Zoye Caroline continue the 'Fish dominance, besting Julia De Jesus and Imar Laboy 21-12, 21-12. This victory sealed the dual for PBA, marking their third consecutive sweep of the day.

Over on Court 4, Sydney Corbett and Cameron Ring delivered an impressive performance against Adeline Dumont and Reese Crossman, winning 21-8, 21-6. Wrapping up the sweep, Savanna Rogers and Lauren Pace defeated Nova Holmbeck and Ashlyn Anderson in the 5s, clinching the match 21-8, 21-10.
