WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Palm Beach Atlantic head women's lacrosse coach Laurie Podmilsak announced on September 5 that Lauren Dickson will join the Sailfish as an assistant coach. Dickson brings a strong background as a former NCAA Division II student-athlete and a proven leader with coaching, mentoring, and sports medicine experience.

"I am grateful to introduce Coach Lauren Dickson to the Sailfish community.  Lauren brings her experience playing in the Sunshine State Conference as well as an international graduate student-athlete to PBA," Coach Podmilsak contributes. "She is incredibly bright, motivated, and creative. It was obvious during our discussions that Lauren cares deeply about developing individuals and investing in our program to be competitive in the SSC.  Our team and PBA community will benefit from her knowledge, passion and perspectives."

A native of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, Dickson competed at Lynn University from 2020–2023, where she was a standout midfielder and three-time Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll honoree. She served as team captain in 2023, leading by example with her work ethic, academic excellence, and leadership.

Following her undergraduate career, Dickson was selected as a Scholar-Athlete at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom, where she continued to play while pursuing her Master of Science in Applied Sport and Exercise Medicine. 

Off the field, Dickson has excelled in roles that combine performance, leadership, and player development. She worked with Athletes United Lacrosse as a location manager, where she spearheaded recruiting and mentoring while implementing new strategies to build success and accountability. She also served with Lifetime Fitness and worked at Equinox as a certified personal trainer, developing science-based training programs tailored to athletes' needs.
