TIGERVILLE, S.C. — The Sailfish of Palm Beach Atlantic (2-0) sailed past North Greenville University (0-5) with a commanding 13-6 victory at Pepsi Stadium on Tuesday. A powerhouse second quarter, where the 'Fish netted six goals, set the stage for their triumph. PBA fired off a season-high 33 shots, with 24 landing on goal, also a season best.
The match kicked off with both teams jockeying for momentum, but it was the Sailfish defense, led by
Sadie Splinter's early forced turnover, that set the tone. Despite a flurry of attempts, the first breakthrough came from
Keira Limpert at 2:22, marking the first of her three goals for the day. The 'Fish locked down defensively, closing the first quarter up 1-0, keeping North Greenville scoreless.
The second quarter was all PBA.
Keira Limpert struck again at 12:58, with an assist from
Kayden Cilento, opening the floodgates.
Peyton Sutton added another at 8:21, as she went on to tally three goals in the match.
Annika Limpert found the back of the net at 4:56, thanks to a feed from
Taylor Fiorini.
Olivia Larges showcased her skill with two goals, including a man-down score at 1:02.
Annika Limpert capped the quarter with a goal at 0:15, assisted by Larges, pushing the Sailfish to a commanding 7-1 lead.
The third quarter saw PBA continue their offensive surge.
Peyton Sutton opened with a goal at 12:38, quickly followed by another from
Annika Limpert, assisted by

In the final quarter, the Sailfish held firm. North Greenville's Ava Walls and Mary Regan managed to narrow the gap slightly, but the 'Fish answered back.
