WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Palm Beach Atlantic men's basketball head coach Cole Rose announced on September 18 that Carson Dowling has joined the Sailfish basketball staff as an assistant. Dowling brings a strong background in team operations, player support, and event coordination that will aid PBA in its ongoing pursuit of competitive excellence on the court and in the classroom.

"We are thrilled to add Carson to our staff," Head Coach Rose adds. "Anytime you can add a National Champion to your organization it's going to bring value. Carson is a hungry, young coach that is a rising star in our profession and has impacted winning in a ton of different ways. We're looking forward to having him here and hitting the ground running!"

Dowling most recently served as a graduate assistant with the University of Florida's men's basketball program. In that capacity, he managed a staff of student managers, organized daily responsibilities, and produced more than 40 scouting reports per season to support the coaching staff. He also played a central role in coordinating team travel logistics and enhancing equipment room operations.

Prior to his graduate assistant position, Dowling served two seasons as a student manager at Florida, progressing from volunteer to scholarship roles. In-season, he dedicated over 60 hours per week assisting in practice preparation, hosting recruiting visits, and addressing daily team needs.

Off the court, Dowling gained experience with Gatorade as a Team Lead, engaging youth at summer sports camps, while also developing customer service skills through roles in fan operations with Gator Hospitality and at Hawkstone Country Club.

"I'm incredibly honored and grateful to Coach Rose for the opportunity to continue my career in coaching, here at Palm Beach Atlantic," Dowling contributes. "I look forward to being challenged and developing as a leader on and off the court, and will do my best to mold our players as both athletes, and young men."

Dowling earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Management and a minor in Innovation from the University of Florida. He also holds a Graduate Certificate in Sports Event Management.
