WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- Five student-athletes of the Palm Beach Atlantic tennis team earned academic all-district status from College Sports Communicators on Tuesday afternoon.

Frida Alsterhem, Virginia Borja, Alina Hoermann, Cecilia Peroni, and Juanfer Contreras earned the honor for their efforts on the court and inside the classroom. To be eligible for the award, they must be a sophomore on the court and in the classroom. As well as competing in 70% of the team's matches while maintaining at least a 3.50 GPA. 

Alsterhem is a graduate student while studying international business. Borja is majoring in computer science. Alina Hoermann just finished up her junior year while studying psychology and business administration. Peroni just finished up her senior year while majoring in psychology. Juanfer Contreras also just finished his senior year while studying finance. 

The Sailfish tennis program finished their third season under head coach Marc Murray.
