DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Palm Beach Atlantic women's track team competed in the first-ever Sunshine State Conference Track Championships on Saturday.

The Sailfish started early in the morning with the 10000m race. Sadie Nordmeyer made her 10000m debut, finishing fourth in the race at 38:00.93.

Amberleigh Sorensen led the way for the Sailfish in the 1500m race. She finished 6th with a season-best time of 4:41.33. Nella Petersen followed, finishing 21st with a mark of 5:13.62.

Hannah Atwell was the fastest Sailfish in the 800m. She set a new personal record in the event with a time of 2:25.54, good for 14th place. Natalee Kryman took 23rd in the event with a time of 2:32.25.

Hannah Parker represented the 'Fish in the 5000m race. She placed 13th with a time of 19:43.34.

The Sailfish complete their season on May 2-3 at the North Florida East Coach Relays.
