MIRAMAR, Fla. – The Palm Beach Atlantic women's track team competed at the NSU Alumni Invitational on Friday.
Jeanne Corroy started PBA's day with a first-place finish in the 1500m, running a 4:43.66, the fifth-best mark in program history.
Kamea Baker earned seventh with a time of 4:58.49.
Amberleigh Sorensen earned ninth, posting a time of 5:11.25.
Darah Oniwa (5:40.15) placed 18
th and
Julia Kooyer (5:45.18) earned 19
th rounding out the Sailfish lineup.
Bella Del Busto represented PBA in the 800m. She finished 11
th with a time of 2:32.58.
Dominyka Petraskaite and Addison Galloway ran the 5000m. Petraskaite finished with a time of 18:58 while Galloway post a time of 19:02.
The Sailfish finished the day by setting a program record in the 4x400m. The team of
Hannah Atwell,
Daisy-Mae Struk, Corroy, and Petraskaite finished with a time of 4:11.
PBA competes again on March 13 when it travels to Tampa for the Tampa Spartans Classic.
