MIRAMAR, Fla. – The Palm Beach Atlantic women's track team competed at the HBCU Relays on Saturday.
Erin Regan led the way for the 'Fish in the 1500m. She earned third with a time of 5:03.34.
Amberleigh Sorensen followed in fifth with a mark of 5:08.20.
Nella Petersen (5:22.59) placed eighth followed by
Darah Oniwa (5:41.57) in ninth, and
Julia Kooyer (5:50.02) in 10th.
Madelyn Jenkins was PBA's lone participant in the 100m. She finished sixth with a time of 13.04. Jenkins also represented the 'Fish in the 200m, finishing sixth with a time of 27.33.
Dominyka Petraskaite was a highlight for PBA. She set a new program record in the 400m, finishing third with a time of 1:00.97.
Daisy-Mae Struk earned the win in the 800m with a personal best time of 2:19.73.
Jeanne Corroy ran a 2:22.06, good for third place.
Hannah Atwell followed in sixth with a time of 2:40.17.
Kamea Baker won first place in the 5000m race. She ran a time of 19:16.41. Addison Galloway earned second place with a mark of 19:49.06.
