MIRAMAR, Fla. – The Palm Beach Atlantic women's track team competed at the NSU Shark Invitation on Saturday.
PBA started the day with the 800m race.
Jeanne Corroy highlighted the day with a first-place finish and the third-fastest time in school history (2:16.46).
Hannah Atwell had a top-10 finish, earning eighth with a time of 2:23.90.
Madelyn Jenkins represented the 'Fish in the 100m race. She finished 20
th with a time of 13.03.
Kamea Baker led the way for the Sailfish in the 1500m. She placed third with a personal best time of 4:56.79.
Nella Petersen earned 11
th with a mark of 5:14.66. Bella Del Busto followed in 15
th with a time of 5:22.38.
Amberleigh Sorensen placed 18
th with a time of 5:24.62.
Gracie Houtman finished 21
st with a mark of 5:41.46.
Julia Kooyer placed 23
rd with a time of 5:57.65.
PBA competes again on April 11 at the HBCU Relays in Miramar, Fla.
