WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The game between the Palm Beach Atlantic baseball team and Nova Southeastern Sharks was paused after one pitch due to a lightning delay.
After the first pitch of the game from
Elijah Budiac resulted in a foul ball the game was stopped due to lightning in the area. The game was set to resume at 8:35 and the Sailfish had taken the field. As Budiac went to throw his second pitch of the game over two and a half hours later, the game was paused once again. With more lightning in the area and a downpour set to begin, the game was called.Â
Makeup plans will be announced at a later time. Stay tuned to Sailfish social media channels and the website for more details.
