WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The Palm Beach Atlantic men's basketball team has been ranked No. 17 in the latest National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division II Top 25 poll, marking a milestone in the Sailfish program's ongoing rise.
Coming off a dominant start to the season, the Sailfish enter the ranking with a clean record and one of the nation's strongest statistical performances. The 'Fish have rolled to a 8–0 start, highlighted by five victories by 28 points or more. On offense, the team is averaging over 93 points per game, leading the SSC in field goal percentage and 3-point percentage. On the boards, PBA ranks first nationwide in rebounding margin among Division II teams.
The 'Fish have also showcased some stingy defense this season. They are first in the SSC in defense with opponents averaging 68 points per game. PBA is currently first in opponent field-goal percentage at 38 percent.
