WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Palm Beach Atlantic beach volleyball team closed out its regular season today with a 5-0 exhibition win over Palm Beach State and a 4-0 win over Webber International. The win moves the Sailfish record to 16-12 on the season.

The Sailfish honored four seniors between matches today in
Sydney Wagner,
Ashleigh Holweger,
Lunden Evans, and
Rebekah Machovec. When PBA returned to the court, they took down Webber for the second time this season in difficult weather conditions. Evans and partner
Mya Krystosek handled their opponents in their No. 1 match as they won in straight sets 21-16, 21-9. Holweger and Mahovec played the No. 2 match and were pushed but came out on top as they took the match in three sets, 20-22, 21-18, 15-6.
Gabriella Aziz and
Savannah DeCarlo cruised in the No. 3 match 21-8, 21-8 while
Julia Golichowski and
Natalie Skopalova needed all three sets to come out on top at the No. 4 match 21-19, 14-21, 15-9. The No. 5 match was officially canceled after Webber's No. 5 team unintentionally played PBA's No. 6 side.
Postseason play is up next for the 'Fish as they hope to make this the year they take the AVCA Small College Championship. The Sailfish are the three seed in the tournament and are in Pool C with Texas A&M-Kingsville, Wayne State, and McKendree. PBA begins pool play on April 14 where the Sailfish open against the two lower-seeded sides.
